The Court imposed an aggregate sentence because the aggravated kidnapping was slightly below mid-range, the property damage was towards the bottom of the range, and the disqualified driving was at the top of the range; each offence was aggravated by commission while on bail, the victim was terrified, the offender had prior offending, high risk factors and guarded rehabilitation prospects, and although he pleaded guilty early and received a 25% discount, special circumstances were not warranted.
