Warranty creditors, i.e. purchasers of new motor vehicles with warranties as at 26 April 2005, may properly be deemed creditors for the purpose of administration and a successfully proposed DOCA. It is appropriate, pursuant to s 447A(1) of the Corporations Act, to make orders that treat such persons as creditors whose claims are deemed to have arisen no later than 26 April 2005 for the purposes of Part 5.3A.
