Anderson v Egan [1905] HCA 44

'Personal representatives' in sec. 33 of the Life Assurance Companies Act 1889 (W.A.) means executors and administrators, not next of kin. The proceeds of the life policy are therefore exempt from liability for payment of the testator's debts to the extent specified in the Act, and are not assets for that purpose in the hands of the administrator.
