Regina v Afif Abdallah [1999] NSWCCA 380
The summing-up, although unconventional and possibly lacking in structure, was sufficient to leave the jury in no doubt as to the issues of fact and the applicable legal principles. Proper and emphatic warnings about the evidence of the accomplice Abdul-Hadi were given. No miscarriage of justice resulted from the summing-up, and the complaints raised could not justify a new trial.
