Justice between the parties required that, in circumstances where the mortgagee was compelled to discharge its mortgage for the benefit of the mortgagor and proceeds were held pending determination of the secured amount, the mortgagee was entitled to interest at the contractual mortgage rate on the principal for the entire period it was kept out of its funds, not merely at the lower rate earned by the receivership account.
