The proposed shed had unacceptable bulk, scale and height for its location and inappropriate painted metal panel construction materials in a recently developed residential area of predominantly brick and tile dwellings. It was therefore not visually integrated with surrounding development, was inconsistent with Residential 2(b) zone objectives (d)(i) and (ii), and consent could not be granted under cl 13(2)(a) and cl 13(2)(b) of Baulkham Hills Local Environmental Plan 2005.
