Service of a photocopy of a bankruptcy notice, which otherwise complies with statutory requirements, is effective service under the Bankruptcy Act 1966 (Cth) and Bankruptcy Regulations 1996 (Cth); it is not necessary for an original to be served, and even if incorrect, such a defect would constitute a formal defect or irregularity not warranting setting aside the sequestration order unless substantial injustice is shown.
