The general words of the release in the deed should be confined to the disputes recited between the H. C. Grant and W. A. Grant families, and cannot be extended to matters outside such disputes unless it specifically appears the parties intended otherwise. In equity, the release should not operate to bar claims of which the releasor was ignorant and did not intend to release, unless it was expressly agreed to release uncertain demands.
