The Tribunal found numerous instances of unsatisfactory professional conduct, including serious breaches of professional boundaries, sexualised conduct towards Patient A, breach of patient confidentiality, inadequate management and documentation of the cessation of the therapeutic relationship, and a false and materially misleading response to the HCCC. Taken together, those instances were sufficiently serious in terms of protection of the public to justify suspension or cancellation of registration and therefore constituted professional misconduct under s 139E of the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law (NSW).
