J Byrne v Valuer-General [2006] NSWLEC 64
The Court accepted Mr Prince's expert valuation evidence, including his market movement assessment and measurement of the dwelling at 1 Burbong Street, and found that his comparable sale methodology was a long accepted valuation methodology. Even if some adjustments were disregarded in the applicant's favour, the result would not disturb the amended statutory valuation of $1,050,000. The appeal was therefore dismissed and the valuation confirmed.
