Although the evidence required a declaration that L was incapable of managing her own affairs, the Court was not prepared to appoint the proposed private managers without further information. The Court required assurance that any conflicts concerning the proposed purchase and occupation of the father's house were addressed, that necessary home modifications were dealt with, and that the financial manager had applied his expertise to L's actual long-term needs by providing a clear investment plan showing estimated net annual income through to 2021 and independent confirmation of its prima facie acceptability.
