Jones, in the matter of Watson [2009] FCA 869
Given the continuity of administration by Jones Partners and the wastefulness of convening numerous creditors' meetings, the Court is satisfied that it is appropriate and convenient to appoint Mr Jones as liquidator of the companies in place of the deceased David Watson, subject to notifying creditors and members and informing them of their rights under the Act.
