Although Mr NKM was incapable of managing his affairs and incapable of making important life decisions, his financial affairs, accommodation, health care, medical consent and NDIS arrangements were being managed successfully through informal family arrangements and nominee arrangements, with no current or anticipated problems. The Tribunal was not satisfied that a financial management order was in his best interests and found no need for a guardianship order that would restrict his freedoms.
