On the evidence now filed, the plaintiff's case was sufficiently substantial to require an answer, and it was sufficiently possible that the defendant's and his domestic partner's financial records would have legitimate forensic relevance to meet the "on the cards" test. Inspection of documents produced by Commonwealth Bank of Australia and Triple Crown Bloodstock Pty Ltd was therefore permitted.
