KCO is suffering from cognitive impairment associated with moderate dementia and depression, is unable to make important life decisions or manage her affairs, and is at risk of neglect and exploitation in her living circumstances; no private person is suitable to be appointed due to family conflict and other disqualifying factors. It is necessary and in her best interests that a limited guardianship order is made appointing the Public Guardian, and a financial management order is made appointing the NSW Trustee and Guardian.
