R. v. Hallgrimson

The judge found the complainants' evidence fatally undermined by multiple and material inconsistencies, impaired memory and intoxication, implausible timing reconstructions, lack of corroboration and a deficient police investigation; on the whole of the evidence the Crown failed to prove the elements of the offences beyond a reasonable doubt, requiring acquittal on all counts.
