Synstar Computer Services (UK) Ltd v ICL (SORBUS) Ltd [2001] EWHC 569 (Ch) (30 March 2001)
The High Court should grant an immediate stay of proceedings pending the outcome of the claimant's appeal to the Competition Commission Tribunal. It is not for the court to manage its proceedings to supplement or anticipate the Tribunal's case management powers, nor to order disclosure or exchange of evidence for the collateral purpose of assisting the Tribunal. The Tribunal is the master of its own procedure and best placed to determine what evidence is required.
