University of London v Prag & Anor
The Warburg Institute and its Collection are held by University of London on the trusts declared by the Deed, which apply to the Institute as a whole, including additions by purchase, exchange, or gift, and intellectual property. The building is not held on trust but must be used to house the Collection. University of London is obliged to maintain and preserve the Institute as an independent unit, adequately equipped and staffed, and to provide funding for that purpose. Management schemes must comply with the Deed, and UOL cannot levy estate-wide space charges inconsistent with the Institute's special character. The Attorney General is entitled to enforce these trusts.
