R v Vincent Place

The sentence for breach of the criminal behaviour order should not have exceeded the top of the range for a category 2B offence. The principle of totality required a reduction in the overall sentence to reflect the gravity of the offending. The total sentence was reduced to 15 months’ imprisonment, comprising 8 months for possession of a bladed article and 7 months for breach of the criminal behaviour order.
