V. MUTHUSAMI (DEAD) BY LRS versus ANGAMMAL AND ORS.

Angammal, having come into possession of the suit land by virtue of her pre-existing right of maintenance recognized in settlement deeds, became full owner of the property under Section 14(1) of the Hindu Succession Act after commencement of the Act; thus, the agreement for sale executed by her could be enforced.
