The applicant has suffered substantial financial loss and ongoing prejudice due to the rent boycott. The respondents have failed to establish that eviction would render them homeless, as they are capable of securing alternative accommodation. The respondents' conduct amounts to self-help and is repugnant to constitutional values and the rule of law.
