The court found that the Respondents failed to establish a valid long-term lease entitling them to occupation of the properties. The alleged leases were not registered against the title deeds, and the Respondents did not prove that the Applicant had actual knowledge of the leases at the time of purchase. The evidence presented did not support the existence or validity of the Head Lease, and the execution of the lease was found to be invalid.
