The business rescue plan discharged Deline's debt only and did not affect the respondents' liability, which remained intact and enforceable. The applicant is entitled to deduct any amounts received from Deline under the business rescue plan from the amount claimed against the respondents, but need not await the finalisation of the business rescue proceedings.
