The revisionary Judge should have limited her intervention to correcting the jurisdictional error and setting aside the Magistrate's orders, not awarding damages in the absence of a trial. The award of damages was arbitrary and unsupported by evidence, violating established principles for assessment of damages and the right to a fair hearing. The Magistrate Grade One lacked jurisdiction to entertain the suit for damages arising from a labour dispute, and the proper course was to dismiss the suit.
