The Defendants entered into loan agreements with the Plaintiff, defaulted on their repayment obligations, and failed to honor pledged security. The Defendants did not contest the Plaintiff's claims or present a defence. The court found that the Plaintiff had proved breach of contract and was entitled to recover the principal sum and interest as claimed. The Plaintiff also suffered inconvenience and loss of use of funds, justifying an award of general damages.
