Although the 4th Defendant was tasked to confirm ownership and value the property, its report was submitted after the loan had already been granted, and it had notified the Plaintiff of the inability to obtain title searches. The Plaintiff did not rely on the 4th Defendant's report in extending the loan, and any reliance would have been unreasonable given the absence of search results.
