The Supreme Court held that, notwithstanding the appellant's arguments regarding the validity of the sale and the applicability of the Mortgage Decree, 1974, the Expropriated Properties Act, 1982 was determinative. Section 1 of the Act expressly nullified any purchases, transfers, or dealings in property expropriated from departed Asians and vested in the Government.
