The court found that the applicants failed to demonstrate any legal interest in the suit property. The will of the late Ssezi Musoke specifically provided that if a legatee (Fred Kafeero) died leaving a child, the property would not revert to the estate but would instead pass to the child. Since Fred Kafeero left a child, the applicants, as siblings of the deceased, could not claim the property.
