The court found that the Defendant was properly identified and the Plaintiffs had consented to her appointment. While the Defendant failed to file an inventory as required by law, there was no evidence of estate waste or fraudulent disposal. The Defendant, as the only surviving biological child of the deceased, has greater standing to administer the estate than the Plaintiffs, who are grandchildren.
