The Assistant Registrar lacked jurisdiction to entertain Misc. Application No. 7 of 2021 because the main suit had been concluded by consent judgment, leaving no pending suit for interlocutory applications. Any orders made in such proceedings are a nullity and must be set aside. However, the Appellants, as administrators, failed in their duty to distribute the estate and file a proper inventory for seven years, contributing to the current dispute. The Respondent must render a detailed and accurate account of all estate proceeds received by virtue of the consent judgment, and the Appellants must effect distribution and winding up of the estate in accordance with succession law within the...
