The omission of the Applicant's name from the grant of letters of administration was a manifest error apparent on the face of the record, as she was authorized by the family and included on the certificate of no objection. The court found that the grant should not have been issued to the Respondents alone and that the powers of administration must be exercised jointly by all authorized persons. The error did not require admission of further evidence and was self-evident from the record.
