The court found that the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Defendants were in occupation and use of Ssingo Block 831 Plots 8, 9, and 10 from 1991, fulfilling the mixed farming covenant required for automatic enlargement of their leases to full terms. The Plaintiff's lease offer related to a different block (Ssingo Block 517 Plots 33 and 34), and its attempt to superimpose its survey onto the Defendants' titled land was unlawful. The Defendants' leases were properly extended and regularised, and their certificates of title are conclusive evidence of ownership, protected by statute. The Plaintiff had no legal interest in the suit land, and any dealings or claims by it were null and void. The court declined...
