The unions did not instruct or direct the complainants to attend a meeting at Central Offices. The complainants, in a concerted action, participated in an illegal strike or withdrew their labour without following grievance procedures, in violation of their contractual obligations and company disciplinary code. The employer followed due process and afforded the complainants an opportunity to be heard, with union representation at all stages. The dismissals were not unlawful, wrongful, illegal, or unfair.
