The appellant is entitled to both long service gratuity under clause 8 and retirement benefits under clause 9 of the ZAMTEL conditions of service, as they are separate and cumulative entitlements. The claim was not statute barred as the respondent did not appeal the Deputy Registrar’s ruling on limitation and proceeded on the merits. The appellant is also entitled to housing allowance until full payment of benefits, per clause 9(h)(v).
