The defendant breached this duty by forcing an unskilled worker to operate a dangerous machine without proper instruction or supervision, resulting in severe injury. The defendant's failure to report the injury to the Workers' Compensation Authority and to provide any assistance further aggravated liability. The defendant is vicariously liable for the acts of its supervisor. The plaintiff is entitled to general, special, and aggravated damages as pleaded.
