The Petitioner failed to prove to the required standard of convincing clarity that the 1st Respondent procured Chief Munkonge to campaign for him, that the 1st Respondent or his agents made false and defamatory statements affecting the election, or that the 1st Respondent masqueraded as a PF candidate in a manner that misled the majority of voters. The evidence adduced was largely hearsay, uncorroborated, or insufficient to establish that the alleged illegal practices occurred or that they affected or may have affected the majority of voters in the constituency. The Petitioner also failed to prove that the 1st Respondent was disqualified under Article 51(a) of the Constitution....
