The plaintiff became the owner of the disputed property upon payment and issuance of title. The defendants, having continued to occupy and collect rent for the property without the plaintiff's consent, committed trespass. The 1st defendant is liable for trespass and mesne profits from the date of the plaintiff's acquisition of proprietary rights. The 2nd defendant is also liable for trespass by continuing to receive rent after selling the property. The interested party is not liable for past trespass but must regularize its occupation with the plaintiff or vacate.
