This is an appeal from an order of tne High Court, sitting under the provisions of Section 22 of the Legal Practitioners Act, that the appellant oe suspended from practice as a legal practitioner for a period of three years. When the application was heard by the High Court the appellant called a witness, one Kundiona, who gave evidence tuat he was tne first to approach the appellant with allegations aoout an alleged letter that he nad seen in the possession of t he HMD. In its judgment the Rijn Court said that trie calling of such witness had aggravate*.. tne case against the appellant and, in consequence, an oroer was maoe for tnree years suspension, uespite the fact that the Disciplinary Committee of tne Law /association of Zamoia nad made a recommendation that tne suspensiun snuuii ue for twelve months only.
