The Prime Minister, his Deputies* and the Ministers shall, before assuming the responsibilities of their office, take the following oath before the President of the Federation: "I swear by Almighty God that I shall be loyal to the United Arab Emirates; respect the Constitution and laws of the Federation; discharge my duties faithfully; that I shall fully take care of the interests of the people of the Federation and fully preserve the entity of the Federation and its territorial integrity." * The term “Deputy” has been replaced by “Deputies” by virtue of article (1) of the Constitutional Amendment No. (1) dated 10/02/2009.
