Official sourceBefore assuming his duties in the Council or its Committees, a member of the Federal National Council shall take the following oath before the Council in public session: ”I swear by Almighty God that I shall be loyal to the United Arab Emirates; respect the Constitution and the laws of the Federation and that I shall discharge my duties in the Council and its Committees honestly and truthfully”.
