In the exercise of the powers conferred upon him by this section, the Governor- General shall act- a. in accordance with the advice of the Prime Minister in relation to a Senator appointed in pursuance of section 28(2) or 28(6) of this Constitution; b. in accordance with the advice of the leader of the Opposition in relation to a Senator appointed in pursuance of section 28(3) of this Constitution; c. in his discretion in relation to a Senator appointed by him pursuant to section 28(4) of this Constitution; and d. in accordance with the advice of the Barbuda Council in relation to a Senator appointed in pursuance of section 28(5) of this Constitution.
