8. An appointment under the preceding subsection shall cease to have effect when it is revoked by the Governor-General. EXERCISE OF CERTAIN POWERS OF GOVERNOR-GENERAL 83.- The powers of the Governor-General under the preceding section shall be exercised by him in accordance with the advice of the Prime Minister.
