Provision text
Official source6. The Standing Orders of the Senate or the House of Representatives under the former Constitution as in force on 31st October 1981 shall, until it is otherwise provided under section 57(1) of the Constitution, be the rules of procedure of the Senate or the House, as the case may be, but they shall be construed with such modifications, adaptations, qualifications and exceptions as may be necessary to bring them into conformity with the Constitution.
