Official source4. The persons who, on 31st October 1981 were respectively the President and Vice- President of the Senate, the Speaker and Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives and, the Attorney-General shall be deemed as from the commencement of the Constitution to have been elected as President and Vice- President, Speaker and Deputy Speaker, or, as the case may be, appointed as Attorney- General in accordance with the provisions of the Constitution and shall hold office in accordance with those provisions.
