Provision text
Official source2. The persons who, on 31st October 1981 were elected members of the House of Representatives under the former Constitution shall, as from 1st November 1981, be deemed to have been elected in pursuance of the provisions of section 36 of the Constitution in the respective constituencies corresponding to the constituencies by which they were returned to the House and shall hold their seats in the House in accordance with the provisions of the Constitution.
