A person shall not be qualified to be appointed as a member of the commission if- a. he is a public officer; b. he is a member of either House of Parliament; c. he is below the age of twenty-five years; or d. he is not resident in Antigua and Barbuda. 3. a. A member of the Commission shall be appointed to hold office for a term of two years. b. Subject to the provisions of this section, the office of a member of the Commission shall become vacant at the expiration of the period for which he was appointed or if any circumstances arise that, if he were not a member of the Commission, would cause him to be disqualified to be appointed as such under subsection (2) of this section.
