ARTICLE 97. The law shall be passed by the National Assembly by a simple majority. However, the bills on which the present Constitution shall confer the character of organic laws shall be passed and modified under the following conditions: -The proposal or the draft shall be submitted for the deliberation and vote of the Assembly only after the expiration of a period of fifteen days after its deposit in the Office of the Assembly; -The text may be adopted only by the majority of members comprising the Assembly; -The organic laws may be promulgated only after a declaration by the Constitutional Court of their conformity to the Constitution.
