تلتزم الدولة بحماية اآلثار والحفاظ عليها ،ورعاية مناطقها،
وصيانتها ،وترميمها ،واسترداد ما استولى عليه منها ،وتنظيم التنقيب
عنها واإلشراف عليه.
ويحظر إهداء أو مبادلة أى شئ منها.
واالعتداء عليها واالتجار فيها جريمة ال تسقط بالتقادم.
