Official sourceArticle 48: All citizens shall be under the sacred obligation to:
- Defend the country and participate in its liberation;
- Defend national unity and fight any semblance of identification other than the identification
with the country;
- The law shall severely punish treason, spying for the enemy, allegiance to the latter and all
crimes committed against State security.
