Official sourceArticle 83: In case of the definitive vacancy of the post of the President of the National
Council, he/she shall be replaced de jure by the candidate who obtained the next highest votes
among the candidates for the post of the President of the Council.
- In case of vacancy of a seat in the National Council, it shall be filled by the candidate who
obtained the next highest votes in his/her electoral district.
- Cases of vacancy of seats shall be defined by the rules of procedure of the National Council.
